Based in the School of Languages and Literature at the University of Ulster, the focus of the Centre is to research the use of computer-based multimedia teaching facilities and develop appropriate teaching methods. The Centre's approach to multimedia language learning is to integrate use of digital technology in class to promote active engagement and to support dynamic intervention. The primary aims are to:

	develop teaching excellence and encourage innovation in the use of multimedia resources
	integrate the use of multimedia resources with face-to-face teaching
	research and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching in a multimedia environment
	collaborate with colleagues within the University of Ulster and other HE Institutions & share good practice
